Poepping Collection - Missouri History Museum ) 〕 and Lieutenant Colonel 〔( Senate of United States of America. Congressional Serial Set ). Page 289. Written in December 6, 1830.〕 In 1793 Trudeau was appointed Commandant governor of Upper Louisiana. During his administration two new posts were established.〔(The Southern States of America ). Written by Jonas Viles. 〕 He commanded the galiot ''La Fleche'' in an expedition from Natchez to St. Louis and back in the winter of 1793. 〔(Acadian Immigrants in Louisiana, February 1764-early 1800s ).
